This release has the following fixes:
1. VMDK mount broke due to changes in VHDx parsing logic. Fixed that.
2. Fixed volume block write logic for type 2 images. This was detected during the currently underway work on creating volume backup images in Type 2 format.. chkdsk was failing on images greater than ~ 4 GB.
3. Fixed crash on dismount.
4. Introduced active mount list icon on the primary UI
5. UI changes
I am in the process of implementing VSS volume level image backups in type 2 formats. This is almost done... with the only thing to be tested is > 2TB backups..
Thanks to all the folks for their reviews and constructive feedback. I have created diskpart scripts which would aid in early detection of scenarios like the above VMDK mount regression.
Also please note that the tool with fail to mount VHD/VHDx images residing on disks which have been encrypted with McAfee drive encryption. This is by design. More details to follow with the next release which would have VSS backup support
